Consultation in decision making
As a psychologist, I offer services to people who are in distress in their relationships and are considering options. This role is not meant to be therapy or to provide legal advice, but rather to explore options from a psychological perspective. The goal is to help individuals make informed decisions about their relationships and to transition to appropriate other professionals if needed.
Relationships can be incredibly complex and challenging, and it is not uncommon for individuals to experience distress as a result. This can be due to a variety of factors, including communication difficulties, trust issues, infidelity, or other challenges. Some couples are on the brink of divorce and don’t know where to turn, but they know they do not want to be adversarial, and they want to be able to co-parent in the future. While I can help you understand the psychological factors that may be impacting your relationship and explore options that are best for your family to ultimately make informed decisions together, I cannot provide legal guidance or representation. However, I have years of experience working with couples and families before, during and after separation and divorce in court related, or out of court related services, as a therapist, mediator, child specialist and collaborative divorce facilitator.
As a psychologist, I have extensive experience working with individuals who are experiencing relationship distress and are struggling with what to do next. I can provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your options and discuss your concerns. I will work with you to identify your goals and help you develop a plan for moving forward.
In summary, if you are experiencing distress in your relationship and are considering options, I can help. My services are focused on exploring options from a psychological perspective and helping you make informed decisions about your future. If you are in need of therapy or legal advice, I can refer you to a qualified professional. Please reach out to me if you would like to have a short phone consultation to discuss if this approach is right for you.
